During 2026, Planex launched a structured investment program in artificial intelligence, with the aim of understanding and assessing its practical applications within engineering processes.
In this initial phase, training represents the first essential step in developing skills, methodology, and awareness in the use of emerging technologies.
Artificial intelligence today represents a field of growing interest also for the world of complex building services engineering, not merely as a technological tool, but as an advanced support for analysis, design, and technical information management processes.
In this context, Planex is systematically exploring the application potential of AI through targeted training programs aimed at fostering its informed and responsible use within professional activities.
During the months of January and February 2026, we took part in an advanced training program dedicated to applied artificial intelligence, promoted by Aicarr Formazione, with a strongly practical approach focused on professional use cases.
The program focused in particular on:
- the use of AI as a technical assistant supporting engineering activities;
- the analysis and synthesis of complex technical documentation, regulations, and standards;
- support for the drafting of technical reports and professional communications;
- the emerging potential of visual generative AI, also in relation to design and modeling processes.
The objective of this in-depth exploration is not the uncritical adoption of new tools, but the development of skills that enable the integration of artificial intelligence into workflows in a controlled, effective manner consistent with the complexity of building services projects.
This initiative is part of Planex’s broader commitment to the continuous development of skills, informed experimentation, and close attention to the technological changes that are transforming the way complex systems are designed and managed.
