THE CUSTOMER
BNP Paribas is an international banking group, present in more than 70 countries, and is one of Europe’s leaders in banking and financial services.

The client asked for LEED® certification to be pursued for the Diamond Tower building, an architectural project by the US firm Kohn Pedersen Fox, and the Italian headquarters of the BNP Paribas Group companies. The project has a total surface area of about 30,000 m² and is developed on 30 above-ground floors, 4 underground floors and accommodates about 2,000 people. It is located in the directional centre of Milan as part of the urban redevelopment project called ‘Porta Nuova Project’, which aims to make this area the directional ‘barycentre’ of the city.
Planex was selected for its well-known experience and professionalism in plant testing and commissioning.
The client achieved LEED® Commercial Interiors 2009 certification of its building, achieving LEED® Gold certification level with the guarantee of perfect functionality of its plant systems.
