After having carried out the MEP design, construction supervision, and fire safety engineering for a historic building in Venice subject to Heritage Authority restrictions—undergoing restoration and adaptive reuse for exhibition and residential spaces—Planex has been awarded a new assignment within the same local context.
The activity concerns a second historic residential building in Venice, for which a structured MEP Due Diligence will be carried out, aimed at accurately reconstructing the as-built condition and defining intervention priorities.
The technical analysis is aimed at identifying existing critical issues and developing a reliable intervention plan, consistent with the Owner’s requirements and with the architectural and regulatory complexity of the building.
Initial document reviews and preliminary site inspections have highlighted system and maintenance conditions that require an in-depth technical assessment, in order to ensure greater system reliability, improve hygiene and sanitary conditions, and facilitate the routine management of the building.
The assignment confirms Planex’s experience in the field of listed historic buildings, where MEP expertise, attention to architectural heritage, and a structured methodological approach are integrated within a context of high operational complexity.
